B.R.I.C.K.
The Urban Play Lab
At B.R.I.C.K., we ignite children's passion for architecture through engaging workshops that emphasise creativity, hands-on learning, and the essentials of design. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of architects with projects that cultivate curiosity and problem-solving skills.

is for Building

Building is where ideas take shape. Kids explore materials, forms, and structures through hands-on making. From simple models to playful architectural experiments, they learn how things stand, how parts connect, and how design choices influence the spaces we live in.

is for Research

Research turns children into urban explorers. Through observation, sketching, mapping, and field-based discovery, they learn to notice patterns in their environment: how people move, how light falls, what makes a place welcoming or challenging. Research develops curiosity and critical thinking.

is for Imagination

Imagination opens the door to new possibilities. Kids are invited to dream boldly—reimagining public spaces, reinventing everyday objects, and envisioning alternative futures for their neighbourhoods. Imagination becomes a design tool that expands what they believe they can create.

is for Collaboration

Collaboration shows kids how powerful shared creativity can be. They learn to co-design, communicate, negotiate ideas, and build together—just like real teams of artists and architects. Through collective model-making and problem-solving, they discover that strong ideas grow when many voices contribute.

is for Kids

Kids are at the heart of B.R.I.C.K. The programme centres their perspectives, curiosity, and agency. Activities are playful, inclusive, and age-sensitive, giving every child the confidence to experiment, express themselves, and see that they, too, can shape the world around them.
